Hardcover front and back, wrapped in a thick linen textured material over a rigid board. It has real weight in the hand and is made to sit out on a desk or a nightstand, not hide in a drawer.
The lettering on the front is gold foil, pressed into the linen.
Bound with a gold twin loop wire spiral, so every spread lies completely flat while you write.

This planner is made to be used every day. A few small habits will keep it beautiful all year:
1. Keep it dry. The linen cover marks if it gets wet, so wipe any spills away right away with a dry cloth.
2. Clean the cover by buffing gently with a dry or barely damp cloth. Skip cleaners and solvents, they can lift the foil.
3. Test a new pen on the back page first. Heavy inks and markers can bleed through.
4. Carry it flat rather than folded back on itself, so the wire binding keeps its shape.
5. Store it out of direct sun. Long exposure will fade the cover and the pages.
